We’re developing a youtube campaign with some pretty serious measurement mechanics, proving ROI for our clients. I guess this is the ‘fun’ side of things..followed by some intense production, than we’ll be cooking with gas! pic: Nigel at Sale Street Studios, Auckland
Rain, rain and more rain
This could so easily be a quick bleat about the weather and why the fish are hard to find, but no. When the guys from Blunt developed a ‘new mousetrap’ for the common brolly, they also realised they’d need some pretty slick design and online skills to get their product and brand to market. This is the original site and graphics developed and deployed by Joe. But I’m still waiting for my free test umbrella…!
Unforgettable dinners and masterchef
Even though we do ‘gift’ the occasional job to our fave clients, we don’t usually do stuff for nothing. Having said that, we are proud to be involved with Alzheimers Association, Northland. We are helping them with their fund-raising presentations and videos. We recently shot Simon Gault-a Masterchef TV celebrity, for the association…now, there was something else really important about this project..what was it? what was it? what was it?
Global Brand Essence: Fonterra

This is one of Rob’s ‘brand: big hitters’-he always likes to namedrop this project, since it carries such credibility. Fair enough too.
Visualising Fonterra’s Global Essence involved utilising a lot of intellectual smarts upfront, combined with healthy brand insights to deliver a suite of perfect, culturally-aware images for this Global Kiwi business. You will see these images and others from this suite-wherever Fonterra operates. They are at the forefront of Fonterra’s Global Branding and are as relevant today as the day they were photographed. You might not need this level of understanding or involvement in your brand, but it’s good to know that you can harness the same level of integrity and intelligence if you need to.
VCI: THE POWER + THE SENSE
A thorough VCI (visual corporate identity) is the first evolutionary step for your brand personality. By establishing elements like fonts, palettes, styles, language and usage guidelines, a VCI will show you just how great your brand can become. By using real-life instances to demonstrate the design base, your VCI proves that proposed designs will work across all your media channels and applications you may not have considered. VCI also ensures parity and consistency, particularly when you have different parties applying your brand in the real world. VCI is really important stuff, but not everyone needs it.
